The cyclone, which had winds of up to 195 km/h as of 0600 Greenwich Mean Time, is currently turning toward the northwest in the Caribbean Sea and is anticipated to make landfall by Tuesday, based on data from hurricane specialists.

Warnings are also ongoing for regions of Haiti including the main city, Port au Prince, the neighboring country and eastern Cuba, where the hurricane is anticipated to bring comparable impacts by the middle portion of the coming week.
Rock slides presently generated by the storm have already killed two in the country, according to the nation's Civil Protection agency.
This weather system is predicted to move across Cuba by the middle of the week before traveling via the Greater Antilles and emerging into the open ocean.
